Lançado à sorte dos condenados,
Testemunha do auto desconforto,
Igualado pois à maneira de morto,
Dormiste fundo em sono penado.
Defensor teso dos apequenados,
Sofreste pesar de inferno no horto
E levaste consigo o choro absorto,
Vertendo sangue aos discriminados.
À injusta visão de serdes preterido,
Sentiste o abandono e o desalento
De prole largada em desprezo tolo.
Ante o golpe pela morte desferido,
Negaste a si em agravo turbulento
Sob vigia e sem acesso a consolo.
