Os Lusíadas é uma das principais obras da literatura portuguesa. O épico foi escrito por Luís Vaz de Camões e está dividido em dez cantos, e subdivididos em estrofes de oito versos. A narrativa mostra viagens dos portugueses por “mares nunca dantes navegados” e possui como característica a presença de episódios históricos ou lendários de heróis.
